The Goddess - Maiden, Mother, and Crone

The Goddess and the God are One. A popular aspect of the Goddess is the Triple Goddess, the Maiden, Mother, and Crone. She is the consort of the God. She is the embodiment of a woman's lifetime. The Maiden, represented by the spring in the Wheel of the Year, is a young and innocent Goddess, looking at the world in wonder. Then, she chooses the Horn God for her consort, and becomes the Maiden in the summer, where everything is blossoming and growing. In winter, she is represented as the Crone, the time in life where things must end, but there is a promise of renewal. Check out this page for more information, http://bit.ly/gnXPKN.
